Make this clever rose tripod for your garden!

You can use our rope to support garden plants in lots of different ways.

We love this really clever rope tripod.

It uses 20mm synthetic sisal rope for the ornamental top because it will last for a long time and keep its appearance. The rope for the frame was thinner, 8mm sisal. The advantage here is that when it degrades, as any natural product should, the natural rope fibres will rot safely into the soil. In time the rope can be cheaply replaced.

Why not have a go yourself!

Other outdoor rope for plant support might be synthetic hemp, jute or manila – it is very much your personal choice.

Think about whether you want synthetic rope, which is made from materials such as polyester, and which will be more weather resistant / rot-proof for garden use, or natural rope which will be more eco-friendly.

And think about what colour and thickness will look best in your setting.

We'd be delighted to provide you with the rope you need - just pop over to the main shopping pages and order. In most cases we can get your rope and fittings to you overnight.
