Treated Children's Wooden Swing with 12mm Synthetic Hemp Rope. Ideal to hang from a tree or a timber swing set.

For domestic use and suitable for up to 70kg (11 stones).

The length of the wooden swing is approximately 1.90m (reducing to 1.20m when shortened) and the treated pinewood seat has a width of 440mm & depth of 175mm. The distance between the ropes is approximately 350mm.

We use Synthetic Hemp rope for its soft feel, strength and durability outside and the top is finished with galvanised steel rings.

How is rope measured?

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.

Do all ropes shrink when wet?

Only ropes made from natural fibres (cotton, Manila, sisal etc) will shrink when wet.

Can I send my order back for a refund?

this looks very sturdy and well made. lovely rounded off pieces of wood, well put together, nice soft ropes. The grandchildren are coming in half term and can't wait to use the new swing. Granny and grandad couldn't wait, and it's definitely strong enough.
