Use our top quality rope to give your garden a makeover.
We find the most popular rope for garden decking or garden rails is synthetic hemp. People generally choose 20mm-32mm thick - the choice depends upon your proect and the setting.
Synthetic hemp is the perfect outdoor rope - a lovely creamy brown in colour and soft to handle. And because it is synthetic - made of spun polypropylene - it doesn't rot, so it lasts and looks brilliant for years.
But how about some colour!
Our Polysilk ropes come in a fantastic array of bright colours. Perfect to zhuzh up that decking, wall or rope rail!
Just check out the colours - pink, purple, red, blue, white, black and silver!
People use this type of rope in courtyards and for rope rails.
You can pick out a colour that matches a wall, the colour of a house or shed or the plants behind. And of course it continues to add a dash of colour when the flowers have gone or winter arrives.
Or if you want natural rope...
Hemp, sisal, manila and jute are options to think about too.
Natural-fibre ropes have a really important place in the garden because they are biodegradeable, meaning any fibres which drops off will safely rot into the soil.
By the way, our jute rope actually has a synthetic (polypropylene) core to it for added strength. Manila is a much darker brown than the creamy-brown of hemp and jute or the sandy-look sisal.
