Polished Brass End Hook for use with 28mm diameter rope, complete with a cross screw to secure the rope in place. Overall length 105mm.

This Hook enhances the appearance of your rope and also helps to prolong its life - it can be used with our matching eye plates and other fittings

Whilst it is most suited to use with a 28mm rope, it will fit slightly smaller diameters. We would suggest wrapping the end of the rope tightly with tape to build it up to a snug fit.

When used with a natural fibre rope (especially manila) you should consider using a fitting size up from the rope. Natural fibre ropes can sometimes measure generously.

Will it arrive next working day?

How is rope measured?

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.

Do all ropes shrink when wet?

Only ropes made from natural fibres (cotton, Manila, sisal etc) will shrink when wet.

Can I send my order back for a refund?

Our Returns Policy is at the foot of the page and we are unable to accept items that were cut to length or were modified (custom-made).

A good quality fitting

This provides a smart finish to a rope used as a handrail into the studio in conjunction with the brass eye ring. I didnâ€™t think until Iâ€™d got the securing bolt through the rope that it would have been a lot easier if Iâ€™d heated up a nail first and pushed it through the polypropylene rope to create a hole.
