Sisal is a good strong traditional natural rope that is especially resistant to sunlight and stretches very little. It is ideal for use in the garden and, being natural, it complements planting and timber work. Also used for cat scratching posts and parrot toys.

Will it arrive next working day?

We always say 1-2 working days. If you pay for your order by 12 noon on a working day, we aim for next day delivery however remote locations, Islands & offshore might take a little longer.

How is rope measured?

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.

Do all ropes shrink when wet?

Only ropes made from natural fibres (cotton, Manila, sisal etc) will shrink when wet.

Can I send my order back for a refund?

Our Returns Policy is at the foot of the page and we are unable to accept items that were cut to length or were modified (custom-made).

Perfect for Cat Scratch Posts/Trees

Had a quick look around online and this seemed competitively priced. The quality is very high (compared to what's already on the cat tree/post the difference is night and day). Managed to reupholster the equivalent of 5 regular sized scratch posts with lots to spare. Definite money saver and more sustainable than getting new ones every time. Cats approve :)
