The standard finish for this rope is for both the left and right ends to be taped.
Our manufacturer has labelled this rope as 20mm but we measure the actual diameter as 21mm.

This Manila Rope has been manufactured in The Philippines and conforms to EN ISO 1181 – 2004. Whilst not test-certificated the 20mm has an approximate Minimum Breaking Load of 3000kg.
Manila is a good strong traditional natural rope that is especially resistant to sunlight and stretches very little. It is ideal for use in the garden and being natural it complements planting and timber work. Uses include handrails, fencing, lawn & deck edging, swing & climbing ropes, rose & pergola swags.

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.
