Our 16mm, 4-strand Jute Rope is a great option for rope rails, fences, lighter decking projects and garden decor projects. Sold here in a discount bulk coil for even better value!
Its traditional colour, look and feel all add a lift to any garden project. It is made from natural jute fibres, with a synthetic (polypropylene) core running through each strand for added strength and longevity.
UV-resistant, easy to handle, knots securely and feels comfortable in the hand.
When used as a decking rope the holes in the posts will need to be bigger than the rope and not the same size - it's best to wait for the rope to arrive before selecting your drill bit. Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.
