The standard finish for this rope is for both the left and right ends to be heat sealed.

Synthetic Hemp is a strong, weatherproof, synthetic rope made to look like a natural hemp rope. This soft handling rope is ideal for outdoor use and particularly suitable for children's play equipment. When used as a decking rope the holes in the posts will need to be bigger than the rope and not the same size.

Will it arrive next working day?

How is rope measured?

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.

Do all ropes shrink when wet?

Only ropes made from natural fibres (cotton, Manila, sisal etc) will shrink when wet.

Can I send my order back for a refund?

Our Returns Policy is at the foot of the page and we are unable to accept items that were cut to length or were modified (custom-made).

This rope is great quality. It`s smooth enough for gripping onto and extremely strong, We`ve rigged up a swing/climbing set up for our daughter and after hours of play, no rope burn or blisters.

Delivery was very swift, so even after a stupidly late order, it still came in time for Christmas. We`ll use this company again.

Just the job

Had chosen hemp rope for my outdoor project but having read the information supplied on the website I decided to go for the synthetic hemp. Same colour but should last longer out in the garden. Saved me some money as well!!!
