Hot dip galvanised steel Ground Anchor Screw. Total length is 520mm with 100mm diameter sharp-edged cutting plate.

Supplied with hexagonal head wood screw M10 x 70mm and plain washer.

This Ground Anchor Screw can be used to secure the wooden poles of a swing frame to the ground or to secure the bottom end of a rope ladder (but watch out when mowing!). Also ideal for securing outdoor Christmas trees.

Will it arrive next working day?

We always say 1-2 working days. If you pay for your order by 12 noon on a working day, we aim for next day delivery however remote locations, Islands & offshore might take a little longer.

How is rope measured?

Thicknesses are categorised by the diameter of the rope - ie measuring across the cross section or 'end' of a rope. Diameters are measured in millimetres; lengths of rope are measured by the metre.

Do all ropes shrink when wet?

Only ropes made from natural fibres (cotton, Manila, sisal etc) will shrink when wet.

Can I send my order back for a refund?

Our Returns Policy is at the foot of the page and we are unable to accept items that were cut to length or were modified (custom-made).

bought a pair and one worked as it should, but the other wouldn't bite into the ground and wind in, after a while trying we removed both to compare, and one had a narrower 'split' on the anchor screw so that was the one not able to wind in, a bit of action with a hammer and bar opened it out a bit more and we then had more success, though still not quite as good as the first one
